Assistant Manager - Banquet Beverage

Job Description

The Assistant Manager is responsible for operating efficiently within pre-established cost controls, managing and training Banquet Beverage staff, and monitoring staff performance; maintain the department in accordance with Health department standards and ensuring customer satisfaction through application of Banquet service standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for planning and effective execution of bar events, ordering, daily payroll and other duties assigned, planned or unplanned.Facilitates daily pre-shift with staff membersPlan, organize and monitor the set-up, service and breakdown of all banquet bar functionsResponsible for evaluating and meeting staffing needs, training team members and upholding Wynn hospitality standards at all times.Responsible for maintaining inventory and supplies as necessary to support operations, as well as communicating and coordinating with any and all operating departments.Responsible for ensuring that all portable bars meet the regulatory Health Department standards for cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.Maximizing opportunities for departmental and company success; maintaining all Wynn Standards; and ensuring excellent guest and team member experience.Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections offered on our menuMaintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, procedures, and standards.Complete work orders for maintenance repairs and submit to Engineering.Review and send bar consumptions, complete all paperwork and closing duties in accordance with departmental standards.Maintain the Wynn core values in conducting business.

QualificationsCandidates must be able to communicate, read and write in English fluently and in a professional manner. 2nd language a plus.Strong computer skills required in Excel, Word, Delphi, Kronos.Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory position in a high end, high volume, luxury hotel/restaurant beverage or banquet department.Candidate must exhibit strong motivational and developmental skills.Requires the ability to work efficiently and within a team environment.Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times.Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
