 Adequate involvement in operations, monitoring and interacting with related team members on a daily basis     

\n

In the absence of the direct superior, ensures the smooth operation of the Cost Control section

\n

Maximizes productivity through the use of multi-skilling, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the departmental goals of the business

\n

Prepares journal entries ensuring journals’ accuracy and compliance with Hilton Chart of Accounts, Uniform System of Accounts for Lodging Industry (latest edition) and Regional Standards if any

\n

Manages beverage store including receiving and issuance of inventory

\n

Maintains par stock level for beverage inventory and manage slow moving items

\n

Perform month-end beverage inventory count at store and F&B outlets

\n

Month-end closing of Check SCM system and roll forward to new period

\n

Monitors food & beverage cost of sales including cost and consumption analysis reports

\n

Reviews and ensures accuracy of menu costings and drives regular menu change

\n

Updates, add and maintain menu items in Micros

\n

 Verifies price for all purchases and approve the purchase invoices in SCM system

\n

Prepares assigned balance sheet account reconciliation

\n

On-going monitoring of existing SOPs ensuring current processes is reliable and relevant. Demonstrate the quality of creativity, innovation and thinking outside the box in identifying process deficiencies/potential issues as well as designing of new procedures to address underlying issues. Implements Best Practices whenever possible

Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned

\n

Actively supports superior to ensure queries and issues are addressed in a responsive manner

\n

Identifies own training needs and develops training plans to ensure continuous development of required areas. Once the training needs identified and development plan established, monitor the development progress on a regular basis to minimize skills and abilities inadequacy in carrying out daily duties

What are we looking for?

A Assistant Manager Accounting (F&B- Cost Controller)  serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow: 

\n\nUniversity Commerce Degree in Accounting and Management preferred. \nAt least 5 years of working experience as Financial Manager or higher position in the hospitality industry. \nPrevious experience in a managerial operational accounting role. \nFluent in written and spoken English to meet business needs. \nGood relationship with the local bank and government agencies. \nThorough knowledge of federal, state and local laws. \nProficient in Microsoft Office applications. \nAbility to lead, to provide guidance and to develop team member. \nAbility to train, motivate, evaluate, mentor and direct associates and managers to meet desired ends. \nA resourceful individual who is creative and able to maintain flexibility. \nLine operations management and labor related experience preferred. \n\n
