Job Summary Take your career to new heights with Delta Sky Club, SFO. Delta Sky Club SFO is now hiring an ASSISTANT MANAGER to join the Food & Beverage leadership team! We are seeking an experienced manager to focus on the beverage program & bar operations. Please note - this is a 2-10:30pm shift and interested applicants must have demonstrated experience in bar operations. As an Assistant Manager you will maximize profitability and ensure guest & associate satisfaction. You assist with leading an engaged, motivated, and guest-centric team, ensuring the Delta travelers experience is "wow worthy", each and every day. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: + Assists with managing food service operations and bar operations in accordance with the approved budget + Ensures the beverage program meets Delta and Compass standards, at all times + Assists with purchasing and inventory for bar(s) + Maintains excellent relationships with associates, guests and client, as well as, other departments within the operation. + Motivates, trains, and inspires a proactive and positive team Qualifications: + 2 to 4 years of food service management experience - must have experience running beverage program/bar operations + Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations. + Comprehensive knowledge of food. + Financial experience and business acumen skills. + ServSafe Certification is preferred. + Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet. + Associate’s degree is preferred.
