The RealReal is seeking an Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance to lead the New Jersey Quality team, responsible for Inbound teams adherence to our standards. This role is a pivotal leader, ensuring the delivery of accurate results and reporting to improve Inbound quality. You’ll manage a lead and develop a team of Quality Associates, partner with Receiving and Authentication leaders and work with the Sr Manager of Quality to provide actionable feedback to Ops partners. This role will split time between our Perth Amboy & Secaucus, NJ locations.
What you get to do every day…
Lead a team of Quality Assurance Associates and a lead; providing developmental feedback/coaching to help them improve and grow
Manage and report on QCA daily performance
Partner with Receiving and Authentication leaders to address quality concerns. Providing detailed reporting summaries and assist in developing action plans
Track and maintain QC and Completion Rate goals.
Facilitate completion of QCA calibration and certification programs
Partner with lead to ensure Authentication Center alignment
Shadow QCA’s and Inbound departments gathering insights and feedback to improve processes and resources
Craft team and manager-level communications, presentations and reporting summaries
Maintain performance documentation and SOPs

What you bring to the role…
2+ years managing at least 5 direct reports
Experience successfully leading and motivating teams, maintaining a positive team culture
Experience receiving and implementing feedback to grow and develop soft skills
Comfortable with large data sets and versed in google sheets
Must have experience with using data platforms for reporting
Ability to meet deadlines, and proactively communicate updates to a wide audience
Exceptional attention to detail, time management and organization skills
Highly motivated, dependable and proactive
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor communication style to suit the target audience
Strategic, forward-thinking perspective and has a positive approach to collaboration
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptability and openness to change
Proficiency with Google Suite including Docs, Slides, Sheets
Ability to split time between the Perth Amboy and Secaucus warehouses
The expected salary range for this role is $59,608.80-$80,912.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package.
