What You'll Do

The lawyer will support the administration of contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and client requirements. The duties of the lawyer will focus on the review and negotiation of agreements with BCG's clients, suppliers, subcontractors, including nondisclosure agreements, data processing agreement and other agreements central to the commercial operations of BCG.

 

Job responsibilities:

Implement BCG contracting policies and processesReviewing and negotiating of contracts and documents related to non-disclosure, non-reliance, data processing (under data privacy enactments), procurement aligned with the company’s processes and ensuring compliance with local law, state, legal, and organizational requirementsCommunicate effectively (both in writing and verbally) with internal stakeholders and external clients regarding the substance and status of contract negotiations in a high-pressure environmentAbility to resolve complex issues and problems independently with sound judgment balanced with seeking guidance and assistance when neededReview, edit and process contracts independently according to the organization’s requirements, escalating to senior team members when needed under the organization’s guidelinesIdentify risks and issues; suggest alternative solutionsPrepare and disseminate information regarding contract summaries, status, compliance, modifications, etc.Provide timely reports on contract metrics and complex legal issuesWork closely with legal team to resolve or support resolution of complex legal issuesSupporting the legal team with its contract management processes using various tools including AI

What You'll Bring

LL.B / B.A. LL.B. / LL.M.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in contracts management with experience in international contracting and varied contractual arrangementsSound understanding of commercial contracting terms, conditions/practices, and legal implicationsProven ability to organize assigned workload and multitask to deliver service at required service levels meeting stakeholders’ expectationsStrong command of Windows Office (particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)English and additional language capability is a plusExperience negotiating data protection agreements and/or CIPP certification a plusStrong communication and negotiation skills (both in writing and verbally)Excellent written and oral communication skillsFlexibility to support a global and international set of stakeholders

Who You'll Work With

BCG’s Global Legal Team as well as international stakeholders across a variety of cohorts and functions. You will report into the Strategy and Operations group within the Legal Team.
