Assistant Housekeeping Manager
Purpose of the Role:   To support the Operations Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, and coordinating with other departments. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential for this role.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
Supervising Housekeeping Staff: Managing the daily activities of the housekeeping team, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring standards are met. Quality Control: Conducting inspections of rooms, public areas, and back-of-house to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are upheld. Training and Development: Training new staff members and providing ongoing coaching to the team to maintain high service levels. Inventory Management: Managing the stock levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, and placing orders as needed. Scheduling: Creating work schedules for the housekeeping team, ensuring adequate coverage, and managing time-off requests. Guest Interaction: Addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues related to housekeeping services. Reporting: Communicating with the management team about housekeeping operations, including staff performance, inventory needs, and any maintenance issues. Criteria for the Assistant Housekeeper:
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in a 5-star establishment. Hospitality accreditation is an advantage. High proficiency in English. Strong administrative and management skills. Computer proficiency. Excellent team player. High level of attention to detail.
