We are seeking an outstanding and dynamic Assistant Headteacher to inspire our church-school community and deliver our vision and uphold our Christian values with commitment, passion and drive.

Our very popular, voluntary aided school, is set in an attractive village on the outskirts of Chester and within the Eaton Estate. It has strong links with parents/carers, governors, the local church and community, which influence our pupils’ learning and development.

We are looking for an Assistant Headteacher who will be responsible for the Reception/Year 1 class. The school will have a new Headteacher in September 2024, so this is an exciting time for a new or experienced Assistant Head to join the new leadership team.

We are looking for someone who:

will promote our school’s mission, vision “Let your light shine” [Matthew 5;16] and values is an outstanding teacher who can lead by example and coach/mentor staff has high expectations of teaching and learning and can lead in this area develops and maintains excellent relationships with children, families and colleagues demonstrates high expectations of pupil behaviour, achievement and a commitment to all pupils. can lead and motivate teams effectively can be a DSL for the school community is able to problem-solve and work strategically
