Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-day operational management of Customer Service and Ramp activities for the station including performance, safety, customer service and employee enablementResponsible for supporting the execution of operational plans in support of station and Company objectives and goals via process management and improvementResponsible for development and sustainment of administrative practices that supervise and support service, safety, financial and employee relations metricsMay be assigned budget responsibilityPartners with and drives supervisor and frontline team to assess needs, recommend, implement, coordinate and evaluate sound operational and business processesAdvises the customer handling activities and all aspects of the planeside ramp service operationStation Operational Performance - support the achievement of station operational objectives, goals and metricsEmployee Relations and Employee Development - promote positive employee and labor relations through ongoing engagement and effective communicationsManage and develop Supervisor team including guidance on investigations, performance management and employee relationsStation Financial Performance - support the achievement of cost and revenue goals through staff management, baggage fee enforcement and ground aircraft fuel burn reductionStation Safety & Security - Day to day management of station safety and security programs towards achieving the highest levels of compliance with safety and security standards and regulations and efficient safety performance against station goalsUnited values diverse experiences, perspectives, and we encourage everyone who meets the minimum qualifications to apply. QualificationsAssociates Degree or equivalent work experienceMinimum 2-4 years leadership experience in an airport operations environment1-2 years line station or Hub operational experience (above and below the wing)Previous experience leading in a union environment1-2 years proven track record in overseeing the management and development of direct reports with a strong emphasis on leadership. mentorship and performance managementSolid understanding of station operations and proven operational leadership skills including customer service, ramp operations, safety and eye for businessExcellent interpersonal skills; including written and verbalResponsible for a 24 hour, 7 day a week operationMust have ability to work weekends and shift workTravel is requiredMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
