\nOverview
\nReporting directly to the Sanctions Compliance General Counsel, the Assistant General Counsel (“AGC”) will be a trusted partner and key advisor for our Sanctions Compliance program’s compliance with sanctions regulations of the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union. The AGC will actively work to maintain an effective sanctions compliance program throughout the Company and pay special attention to the regulatory framework of the United States. The AGC will actively support the implementation of integrated compliance systems and digital tools to provide advice to support sustainable business growth internationally.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\nExecute the strategy of the sanction’s compliance program across the enterprise, including working collaboratively with the sanction’s compliance team on risk management strategies.\nProvide guidance and support to the Sanctions Compliance team and business units on sanctions reviews.\nExecute and make improvements to sanctions compliance solutions, including sanctions compliance screening systems.\nReview laws, regulations, designations, and other related regulatory announcements for business impact.\nAssist in testing and auditing of the sanctions compliance program and identify improvement opportunities and potential solutions.\nAssist in investigating questions associated to sanctions compliance.\nEnsure Honeywell’s policies and procedures with respect to sanctions are up to date and consistent with regulatory authorities’ compliance program guidance.\nAssist in developing and providing trainings on sanctions compliance issues for internal stakeholders.\nSupport investigations into sanctions compliance issues, including relating to EU and UK sanctions.\nExercise strong leadership, collaboration, and execution skills with project teams, outside vendors and consultants.\nProactively identify, evaluate, and manage sanctions risks in a way that enables the organization to deliver sustainable business growth.\nMust have:
\n\nJuris Doctor (JD) or equivalent\nStrong English skills\n5+ years of trade compliance experience, with 4+ years of sanctions experience, including demonstrated experience in US sanctions matters\nStrong attention to detail\nAbility to work in a fast-faced environment under strict deadlines\n\nWe Value:
