We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

· Ensure that all tax reporting and analysis is provided to key stakeholders by deadlines

· Support management to provide first line analysis of tax variances and drivers primarily to Partnering Insight and Governance Control

· Respond to regular and ad hoc tax data and report requests from key finance and non-finance customers

· Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure all tax regulatory reporting is submitted on time to tax authorities

· Ensure all work undertaken complies with HSBC policies, procedures and work practices

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

· Bachelor‘s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

· 5 financial experience and solid knowledge in insurance business, accounting, reporting and finance systems and technologies are highly preferred

· Qualified member from any recognizable professional accountancy bodies (e.g. CICPA etc.) is preferred

· Strong accounting knowledge and problem solving skill.

· Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal/external stakeholders

· Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and changing priorities

· Excellent team player, able to lead others into action, and with ability to work under minimal supervision

· Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken)

· Self-motivation.
