Basic Function – Assisting in the day-to-day management of the assigned location ensuring that parking operations are handled within contractual guidelines of the specific location, fostering good client relations and promoting a professional image and approach to the business.

 

Responsibilities

 

Ensure that all operational schedules are fully staffed with qualified, trained customer service oriented employeesPrepare daily/weekly shift schedulesEnsure that frontline employees understand all aspects of their respective assignments, including applicable Airport and SP+ Curbside Management Joint Venture policies, procedures, rules and regulations.Assist in training of operations staff and commercial vehicle operatorsMonitor all frontline operations activitiesAssist SP+ personnel in providing services and handle/resolve problems/complaints/special circumstances as necessaryInvestigate all accidents and incidents per client requirements and prepare requisite reportsEnsure adequate supplies are available to all frontline employees including requisite inventories in boothCoordinate availability, distribution and proper use of 2-way radios.As necessary, assist frontline personnel on curb, in Holding Lot or where necessary during peak timesCoordinate with airport and local law enforcement to clear commercial vehicle Loading Zones, Ground Transportation (queuing) Areas and Holding Lot(s) of unauthorized vehicles.Coordinate with airport staff and Taxicab Dispatch companies to ensure that an adequate number of taxicabs are available at the Airport.Coordinate collection and delivery of trip ticketsComplete Shift ReportsConduct periodic frontline employee performance reviewsMonitor all assigned work areas to ensure safe and clean working conditions

 

Qualifications

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

Education/Experience Required: High School Graduate. A minimum of six months of parking experience preferred.  

 

Availability to Work:  Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs.  If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or week-ends may be required.

 

License Requirement:  Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record.
