The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will assist with overseeing our housekeeping operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience while monitoring and improving housekeeping standards.

\nWhat will I be doing?
As an Assistant Housekeeper you will be required to work closely with the Executive Housekeeper to monitor, manage and improve standards. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\n\n\tAssist with overseeing Housekeeping & Laundry operations\n\tOperate within departmental budgets through effective stock and cost controls and well managed schedules\n\tSupport departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies and procedures\n\tMonitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Housekeeping & Laundry Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork\n\tEnsure team members have an up-to-date knowledge of all room categories and amenities\n\tAssist the Executive Housekeeper to maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with external customers and suppliers\n\tEnsure staffing levels cover business demands\n\tEnsure ongoing training to support Executive Housekeeper\n\tEnsure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated\n\tManage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures\n\tSupport managing, training and developing the Housekeeping & Laundry team\n\tHave close contact with Engineering & Front Office\n\tManage Out of Order inventory\n\tAssist other departments wherever necessary\nWhat are we looking for?

\n\n\n\tHousekeeping experience in the hotel/leisure/retail sector in a managerial or supervisory capacity\n\tHigh level of commercial awareness and cost control capabilities\n\tExcellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills\n\tCommitted to delivering high levels of customer service\n\tAbility to work under pressure\n\tKnowledge of chemicals and the machines used by housekeeping\n\tHigh level of IT proficiency\n\tExcellent grooming standards\n\tFlexibility to respond to a range of different work situations\n\n\n
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
\n\n\n\tFamiliar with Property Management Systems\n\tExperience managing a department and Profit and Loss account\n\n\n\n\n
