Content Strategy: Review and Implementation
Review current content strategy plans; make suggestions for improvement; implement workflow and process changes as needed. Maintain content strategy across all portfolios; develop new styles as needed. Track video team processes, performance, effectiveness, productivity, efficiency and make recommendations for improvements.Resource Allocation
Forecast resource needs based on TLC strategic goals. Assign tasks and responsibilities to production team members. Monitor and manage production budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness. Coordinate with external vendors, such as post-production studios and equipment rental companies.Communication
Update and collaborate with the leadership team weekly. Keep stakeholders informed of project progress and address any concerns or changes. Provide regular updates on project timelines and budgets. Communicate with stakeholders about upcoming strategic policy changes. Mentor junior staffProject & Production Management
Project Planning
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives, scope, and creative requirements. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for video production projects. Determine the necessary resources, equipment, and crew needed for each project.Pre-Production Management
Assist in script-writing, story-boarding, and concept development. Coordinate casting, auditions, and talent agreements. Work with faculty to plan how to best record course content.Production Management
Oversee the entire production process, including directing, shooting, lighting, and sound. Manage on-set logistics for studios, classrooms, and field shoots. Ensure that production adheres to safety regulations and guidelines.Post-Production Collaboration
Collaborate with video editors, graphic designers, and post-production teams to achieve the desired final product. Review and approve drafts and edits, providing feedback as necessary. Ensure that the final video aligns with the project's objectives and meets quality standards. Coordinate the delivery of final video assets to appropriate channels or platforms. Ensure that videos are optimized for different formats and devices.Quality Control
Maintain high production standards for image and sound quality. Review and approve all footage and ensure it aligns with the project's vision and objectives. Oversee editing and post-production processes, providing feedback and guidance as needed.Organizational Tasks
Scheduling and Logistics
Develop detailed production schedules and ensure all deadlines are met, based on TLC strategy goals and outcomes. Coordinate with talent, crew, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth production operations. Address any logistical issues or challenges that may arise during filming.Other Tasks
Other duties as assigned by your supervisor. Expected Salary:$80,000-$90,000
Minimum Requirements:Masters degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelors degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:- Proven experience in video production, animation, and/or motion graphics management
- Strong technical knowledge of video production equipment and software (specifically Adobe products).
- Proficiency with productivity and project management tools (specifically Monday.com and Office 365).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Expertise in creative storytelling, design principles, and visual composition
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to analyze and adapt to multiple audiences and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in video production.
