Job DescriptionThis role is focused on creating and maintaining a high profile and positive image and driving brand awareness for Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas, ensuring customer preference for the brand and its hotel/s by effectively communicating to media and industry partners on the national levels.
The successful candidate will work with Global PR and hotel teams to achieve PR exposure, manage media relations and build loyalty amongst top tier media on behalf of the brand and the hotels, with the objective of keeping the brand and the hotels front of mind, driving revenue and helping the property to achieve their commercial objectives.
Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are to:
Writing, editing and preparing press releases, information and promotional material in Thai and English.Developing strategic PR plan and campaigns for Avani Hotels & Resorts and oversee the implementation of the approved plan and campaigns.Actively looking for coverage opportunities for the brand and properties.Strategically leading and executing the promotion of Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas and its properties.Managing public relations budgets.Tracking media coverage and preparing PR reports.Preparing and maintaining accurate and update hotel and outlet press kits.Maintaining an up-to-date media database.Responding to requests for information and enquiries from the media.Building positive relationships with stakeholders, media and the public.Seeking opportunities for partnerships and sponsorships.Coordinating with property on site-inspections for media partners, stay request, experience and follow-up on results.Participating in media familiarization trips and site inspections as required to meet the public relations targets of the hotels.Supporting the hotels with the development and implementation of their PR plans.Organising PR events e.g. press conferences and product launch event.Managing an organization's reputation and the response to crisis situations.Assisting colleagues in matters pertaining to public relations and undertake additional duties as requested.Drafting speeches and schedules interviews.QualificationsAt least 7 years of experience in PRExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai with knowledge of producing pressProven experience in successfully raising an organization's/initiative's public profilePast experience supervising and managing a public relations teamEstablished connections with media outlets and influential accountsProficiency in social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etcStrong leadership and management skillsCreative thinking with an affinity for innovation and problem-solvingAbility to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects with changing priorities
