The Assistant Director of Operations / Football assists the Director of Football Operations, Chief of Staff & Head Football Coach in overseeing the football program’s daily operations. This includes developing & fostering relationships with coaches, student athletes, Virginia Tech Athletics department personnel, University staff and external units. This position will also represent the football program within the Virginia Tech Athletics department, within the Atlantic Coast Conference [ACC], and also within the National Collegiate Athletic Association [NCAA]. The position reports to the Director of Football Operations and Chief of Staff. This role is responsible for adhering to all department & University policies & procedures, as well as the rules, regulations, bylaws & interpretations of the ACC & NCAA.
