The Assistant Director of Nursing will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Eddy Village Green Cohoes is a 192 bed Greenhouse Style premier skilled nursing healthcare facility located in the village of Cohoes, NY.

The Assistant Director of Nursing would be expected/ but not limited to:
Day supervision of the community, overseeing the overall function and operability of the nursing unitsAct as Infection Preventionist for all departmentsAssist in the creation of policies and procedures to improve quality of careAssist with the education of the nursing team and infection control throughout the communityAssist in the management of nursing personnel and the administrative functions for the nursing departmentMonitoring infection rates and outbreaks and communicating with appropriate governing bodiesActs on the behalf of the Director of Nursing in their absenceDemonstrate the organization’s commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of TrusteesAccountability for the human resource and outcome management for designated resident populationsCompliance with federal and state regulationsRequirements:
Valid NYS RN licenseAssociate degree in nursing2+ year of experience as a RN in a leadership role5+ year of experience as a RN in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting in a leadership roleGreenhouse model experience preferred, not requiredPreferred

Pay: From $86,216.00 per year
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
