We’re seeking a highly regarded, higher education professional who is strategic, collaborative, and creative as our next Assistant Director for the operations and management of internal and external communications.
This opportunity inspires vision and creativity coupled with discernment and business acumen. Your drive for accuracy in communication will be rewarded as you write, review, and edit written materials for a variety of channels (news, web, social, scripts, remarks), and prepare presentations as you communicate with appropriate stakeholders. And your years of experience in managing communications/media will enable your success as you develop university-level academic-related content to promote and position the university as leaders in higher education, strategic academic outcomes and innovation, student experience and preparedness, research impact, faculty affairs and impact on the state, nation, and world to stakeholders.

Qualifications
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in communications or equivalent combination of education and experience coupled with seven years of experience in managing communications, media, and/or other related. The well-qualified applicant may have a Master’s degree in related field with seven years of progressively responsible experience in an area directly related to marketing communications and experience in executive leadership communications with marketing communications experience at a higher education institution.
