Log back in Assistant Director, Community College Transfer Opportunity Program Posting Number 2024-13892 Posted Date 1 month ago(9/25/2024 10:54 AM) Location : Location US-NY-New York Hybrid Remote Work Classification Hybrid: 60% to 80% Onsite Department Office of Undergraduate Admissions School/Division University Enrollment Management (WS1960) Compensation Grade Band 52 Union N/A FT/PT Full-Time Category Student Services/Athletics Position Summary Represent NYU to a wide and diverse audience in high schools and community colleges around the United States, specifically promoting the Community College Transfer Opportunity Program (CCTOP) which provides recruitment, admission and support services to students transferring from select community colleges. Advise prospective students, parents, and high school/transfer counselors regarding admissions policies, procedures, academic programs, and financial aid opportunities. Evaluate applications and recommend admissions decisions for all of NYU’s undergraduate colleges; review and evaluate credentials. Oversee and delegate tasks related to the Community College Transfer Opportunity Program (CCTOP). The Office of Undergraduate Admissions aims to develop, support, and empower a workforce that reflects the diversity of the students we serve. This is a three year fixed term position. Qualifications Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
2+ years admissions or related student services experience

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to promote the University and to work independently as well as part of a team. Outstanding interpersonal, public speaking, and writing skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations and/or people. Valid drivers license. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel extensively.
Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $77,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
