Description:

The Assistant Manager, Delivery Operations is responsible to support the Manager, Delivery Operations with the efficient planning and execution of daily route processing, store partner correspondence, wave planning, and timely resolution of Salesforce cases. Constantly improving day-to-day oversight of these functions will support reduced transportation expense, contributing in reduction of cost per stops and ensure the routes scheduled support the delivered dollar objectives for the organization. Focus on ensuring the team strives to provide the highest levels of customer satisfaction and production efficiencies. This role is located onsite at our Corporate Office in Boston Heights, OH.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Key fundamental skill sets for this role will be:

Oversee the performance of the Delivery Operations department in an efficient, cost effective, and safe manner while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels. Track cases in the Salesforce application, handle escalations. Create and maintain reporting on team performance as related to KPIs. Collaborate with the Transportation team to ensure Storis, Route Tracker, and Delivery Schedule are aligned on a daily basis. Ensure the department operates according to budgeted guidelines, maintain delivery associates’ work hours, schedule, vacation, attendance and overtime. Work in concert with the senior management team in implementation of processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvement in efficiencies Work cross functionally with a required high degree of communication with the Store Operations, Client Services, Hub Managers, DC partners and IT. Read, understand and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports; use these reports to evaluate department’s performance; compute figures to accurately plan/adjust headcount to meet department’s objectives Work with the Manager to develop, refine, implement and administer company policies, procedures and systems to provide effective service to all Arhaus customers the most cost-effective way. Cross functionally work with other teams to implement all system implementation projects within the department

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma; College degree preferred 2-3 Years of experience: Analytical skills a must Valid Driver’s license preferred Computer proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Products, and ERP base knowledge Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including order processing, picking, and shipping processes and procedures. Dedicated to business and allow flexibility with work hours if necessary Adapts to change quickly and easily and performs effectively during times of change; demonstrates the ability to multi-task and manages competing priorities effectively Demonstrate strong oral, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills Possess very strong organizational and prioritizing skills, obsessive attention to detail Builds respectful and effective working relationships; collaborates with others to achieve common goals Strives to meet or exceed the expectations of internal and external customer standards Demonstrates initiative by acting as a self-starter; focusing on having a high level of urgency which takes on increased responsibility to enhance one’s contribution Displays a high degree of integrity, honesty and takes responsibility for one’s own actions; shows consistency between words and actions Manage, Coach and Motivate a team; to create an outstanding “company based” client experience.
