**Job Description**
**Assistant Dean of Enrollment Management-School of Nursing-Mount Sinai Beth Israel-Full Time, M-F, 9am to 5pm**
Responsible for the oversight and coordination of recruitment, admissions, registrar, student financial services, and new program initiatives for the school.
**Qualifications**
+ Masters degree in higher education administration required (management, research or related field)
+ Minimum of six (6) years of related experience in Student Services administration

**Responsibilities**
+ Oversees student service, initiatives including: recruitment, enrollment, retention, peer advisement, counseling and international enterprises.
+ Ensures compliance with federal, state, financial, university, academic, and accrediting regulations by monitoring the preparation, verification, and submission of federal and state reports. Manage exceptions to school policies and procedures; determine appropriate responses to settle grievances.
+ Oversees cash management of the Student Financial Services department. Authorizes drawdown of Title IV funds after reviewing monthly reconciliation records for Direct Loan and Federal Pell Grant programs. Prepares journal entries on scholarship and loan funds. Ensures tuition and fees revenue is reported to the Finance Department.
+ Interviews prospective candidates to the school and makes individual and broad-based policy recommendations to the Admissions Committee.
+ Acts as the School’s Title IX/ADA Compliance Coordinator.
+ Assures the school’s compliance with federal regulations related to international students. Acts as Primary Designated School Official (PDSO) in the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVIS) information system for international students.
+ Determines standards for the operation of the computerized students’ information system, including registering students for courses and generating academic transcripts.
+ Participates in the integration of outcome assessments to effect institutional improvements.
+ Performs data collection and research studies that support planning, evaluation, tuition revenue and policy formulation.
+ Utilizes results derived from institutional assessment to assist the Dean and leadership with Strategic Planning.
+ Serves as Chairperson of the Admissions Committee; is a member of leadership and may participate in other designated committees of Faculty Organization.
+ Meets with students for advisement purposes and resolves individual issues as necessary.
+ Ensuring compliance with Department of Education Enrollment reporting requirements.

**Compensation Statement**
Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $79720 - $119580 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
