Assistant Customer Service Manager
Position OverviewOur front end is the last place our customers visit, their final point of contact during their shopping trip. It's where we have an opportunity to leave a lasting impression by providing friendly and courteous service as they complete their orders.

Description

Provide friendly and attentive customer service as you oversee the day to day operations of the front end and supervise front end associates/cashiersCultivate and maintain excellent customer relations and service levels, and ensure a friendly, professional, and well-organized image for the front end, vestibule, and parking lotAssist Customer Service Manager with selection, training, development, and scheduling of cashiers/front end associatesEnsure proper product handling and that all legal/regulatory aspects of the front end are followed (i.e. alcohol/tobacco sales, WIC, food stamps)Travel Required:No

Specialized Knowledge : Basic computer skillsSpecial Skills : Ability to read, write and perform basic math functionsPhysical abilities: :Other: : Excellent communication skills and organization/prioritization skills, basic computer skills and/or the ability to learn how to operate a cash register, scanner, telephone system, and scale, and the ability to handle money and other forms of payment are also important.
