ResponsibilitiesThe Assistant Community Manager reports to the General Manager. This position is responsible for assisting with all operational phases of the property to ensure customer satisfaction, fiscal stability and good physical condition.
Assist the General Manager in all actions that involve and/or influence the propertyAccept rent and follow up on delinquenciesPost rent and miscellaneous income receiptsMake bank deposits daily when receipts are on handPost and follow up on NSF checksHandle evictions and NSF warrantsTurn over bad debts for collectionReport income collection to the Property AccountantAssist with leasing activities and resident relationsAnswer telephones as neededPlan and direct social activities as neededInspect move-outs and schedule units for turnkey as directedVerify that information on move-in and renewal leases agrees with information entered into the computerFollow up on service requests and perform call backsVerify completion and accuracy of Weekly Leasing ReportsAct as the primary record keeper of income and expense information to the computer Pay property level bills and forward cash disbursement journals to the Property AccountantVerify that invoices paid correspond to purchase orders issued and submit properly coded invoicesUpdate and post security deposits; process security deposit refunds and forfeituresGeneral maintenance, audit and filing of property records Qualifications Bachelor degree or equivalent combination or education and experienceAccredited Residential Manager (Institute of Real Estate Management) or Certified Apartment Manager (Building Owners and Management Association) is preferredValid driver’s license and current automobile insuranceProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookKnowledge of Entrata is preferredAbility to follow through with all necessary paperwork and ensure all deadlines are metExcellent customer service skillsAbility to communicate effectively and professionally while operating in a fast paced environment Options Submit resume for this job onlineSubmit ResumeShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
