ASSISTANT CLUB CONCIERGE MANAGER 

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for an Assistant Club Concierge Manager. Candidates with a passion for excellence, expertise in hospitality operations and proven leadership experience are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons. As a member of the Club Concierge team, the Assistant Club Concierge Manager works across disciplines to deliver an exceptional experience. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

The Assistant Club Concierge Manager oversees Club Concierge operations and responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests. She/he makes sure that all Club Concierge agents adhere to the Four Seasons standards, work closely with other departments and vendors to successfully set our customers stay and replaces the Club Concierge Manager in her/his absence.  

Review schedule and ensure staffing is prepared according to operational needs and budgeted guidelines. Employee will take part in the completion of all payroll records required. 

Process payroll, commissions and follow up on absences and sick calls. 

Ensure that information for restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local attractions are updated and current in procedures and systems. Showcases understanding of what activities are available on the island and differences between recommended vendors and ensures close contact with vendors. 

Working side by side with Club Concierge agents to support the operation. 

Partnering closely with other departments to ensure smooth handling of guest requests and processes. 

Resolve guest complaints in conjunction with other managers, keeping senior management well informed as to the problems and actions taken. 

Lead by example and ensure the concierge desk and storage areas are kept in an orderly manner. 

Respond properly to any resort emergency or safety situation. 

Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management. Constantly aim to improve our guest and employees experience. 

According to the structure and organization, serve as a point of contact for VIP guests from the pre-arrival stage through the stay until departure. 

Trains, develops and supervises the performance of direct subordinates, provides them with on-the-job feedback, serving as a mentor and a role model. 

Implement and ensure the correct application of department P&P and standards by the Club Concierge team by performing standard testing. 

Assist in managing the team by conducting interviews, Performance Evaluations and disciplinary actions when needed. 

Attends regular operational meetings and occasionally runs departmental meetings to ensure effective coordination, communication and partnership between departments. 

 

WHAT TO BRING 

Flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays 

Excellent personal presentation, interpersonal and leadership skills 

Attention to detail and the ability to multi task are required together with ability to prioritize and handle stressful situation. 

Team player and strong problem solving skills 

Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties Minimum 1-year experience in a supervisory or assistant manager position in hospitality business 

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Opera  

Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
