The purpose of this role is to assist the Marketing Manager with the implementation of the brand and communication strategies for the brand in South Africa

Key Performance Areas
Brand Management
Support the B2B & Trade teams in establishing & driving the local Marketing strategy in alignment with the global brand positioning
Manage relationships with relevant stakeholders in indirect channels to execute strategies and plans effectively
Identification and implementation of marketing techniques to increase out of home market penetration and enhance brand awareness in order to increase sales
Assist in the development of the Professional brand & services
Identification and communication to management of Marketing opportunities within the trade and B2B markets that complement the overall business strategy
Manage the annual trade and B2B promotional calendars and implementations in relevant indirect channels
Assist trade partners with initiatives to drive new members to convert through channels and minimise brand attrition

Product Launches
Roll out launch plans to customers and trade partners in market to assist them in understanding offers and services

Advertising & Media
Have an understanding of sound media strategies in line with agreed objectives through both traditional and digital media
Be able to deliver accurate postcampaign reports on any campaigns as well as key competitors
Be able to manage the brief of all artwork & design of creative material into appointed agencies for campaigns
Management of the implementation of PR strategies concepts and plans as well as internal & external communication requirements
Managing any additional promotional activity such as events sponsorships activations within the outofhome and trade segments
Manage all Marketing material for activations within the out of home market
Maximising use of trade media channels in order leverage communication to their databases
Manage instore trade merchandising as per company standards

Direct Marketing
Create and manage the content calendar for communication to database
Translating customer & trade partner insights into relevant actions
Ensure standards are maintained throughout all events activities campaign and operations
Understand team goals and company business drivers

Requirements and Competencies
Previous experience within the retail sector preferable
2 to 4 years brand management experience within a Marketing team
Bachelor Degree in Marketing / Business Administration with Honours being preferable
Previous / Current experience with budget management
Valid drivers license
Available to travel nationally
Shows creativity and initiative a selfmotivator
Experience with managing projects from initiation to reporting
Highly organised and energised by touch challenges
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Meticulous attention to detail
Customer serviceoriented
A natural problem solver
Must have a strong work ethic
Proficient in full suite of Microsoft Office
