WE LOVE OUR WORK. Determines equipment and supplies necessary for the execution of Entertainment and Audio/Visual activities. Ensures timely procurement of required equipment and maintains par inventory.Supports department leadership in communication and building relationships with entertainment agencies, producers, and production vendors in order to ensure mutual understanding of the facility and goals for the event, including contract review and execution. Works with vendors to collect quotes; negotiates and purchases/rents equipment; requests recommendations on production needs to ensure proper execution of events.Supervises and/or operates sound, lighting, and video equipment for all entertainment programs for the property.Maintains electronic calendar for events and meetings; promptly notifies management of upcoming events that will require extra equipment.Supervises and/or performs preventative maintenance of equipment and ensures the equipment is in good working order; adjusts and repairs equipment; logs repairs with proper documentation and notifies management when correction of major malfunctions is necessary, as well as the cost and timeline for repairs to take place.Supervises and/or installs and properly supports a variety of AV components including but not limited to video displays, projectors, screens, and speakers.Actively seeks and enthusiastically supports to improve the Audio / Visual experience of the guests, prioritizing the messages that drive the performance metrics of the companyAssists department leadership in coordination of all property communication effectiveness, environment audio/visual experience and entertainment.Schedules and maintains appropriate messaging, appropriate music selection and audio levels across the property.Proactively suggests, supports and produces any audio/visual assets used for internal communication, on-property communication, external media channels or at sister properties.Willing to travel, with department leadership authorization, to support any production of audio/visual assets required for communicationEnthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with departmental and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.Trains, motivates, and supervises all AV staff; ensures all have the knowledge and necessary resources to perform their duties effectively.Oversees and directs staff in coordination with related departments in order to facilitate planning for meeting and sales events, promotions, and special event programs.Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance within area of authority and reporting potential issues to management.Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters. Associate degree or certification in Audio/Visual Technology or related field required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum four (4) years of Audio/Visual experience and two (2) years of experience in a Casino/Entertainment or similar environment required.At least two (2) years of experience in digital signage, video distribution, and background music/paging systems strongly preferred.Must be able to get a G2 Gaming License.
