Supervises and coordinates all activities at NYSCAS. Supervises all personnel to ensure effective operation and development of the school. Coordinates all activities between administrative and academic departments. Title will be based on previous experience.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Oversee Learning Center, including tutoring and writing areas Serve as liaison between all NYSCAS Site Directors and the Office of the Dean. Review and approve all requisition forms for NYSCAS before they are sent to the Purchasing Department. Follow up if problems arise. Assist in analyzing and developing annual NYSCAS budget. Perform budgetary transfer amendments and budget analyses throughout the year. Hire new employees as needed.Work with HR and Payroll departments on documents related to personnel appointments, terminations, and other transactions.Prepare ePAFs as needed. Develop and approve academic schedule (course scheduling) and calendar in conjunction with academic department chairs and academic advisors. Award Merit and Dean's Scholarships based on students' financial needs and academic achievements. Develop recruitment, retention, and communications plans for NYSCAS Responsible for organizing annual NYSCAS commencement exercise.Responsible for graduation budget. Help direct all students' grievances to the appropriate personnel for assistance.  Serve on academic and administrative committees when needed.  Qualifications

Education/ Experience

Master’s level minimally, doctoral degree preferred At least 3-5 years supervisory experience in a college 

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

Knowledge of academic advisement, overall knowledge of financial aid matters Strong interpersonal, organizational and managerial skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize work Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook Proficiency in CANVAS, Tableaux, Zoom, TouroOne 

Travel

Travel to other NYSCAS locations as needed100% on-site Maximum Salary USD $106,890.00/Yr. Minimum Salary USD $85,512.00/Yr.
