ASSET MANAGEMENT

As some of the most sophisticated investors, investment consultants advise many of GS Asset Management’s clients on their investment strategy and manager selection. The Consultant Relations team works with over 100 investment consultant firms around the world which advise on asset allocation for a diverse set of clients. This requires a deep understanding of clients’ needs, consultants’ approaches, and GS’ investment strategies.
 
YOUR IMPACT

We are seeking a data oriented, commercially driven person for a role in AMD’s Consultant Relations team. In this role, you will bolster the data infrastructure to supply Institutional Salespeople with custom, systematized analytics to win new clients and retain existing ones.  The position will be at the Associate level.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

Support senior consultant relationship managers in providing excellent service to high-profile investment consultantsCreate streamlined, automated systems to provide actionable insights to Institutional Client AdvisorsSource, aggregate, manipulate and visualize market data to increase collaboration and create efficiencies, ultimately driving institutional sales Research, track and summarize progress with investment consultants, including: opportunities, product ratings, and market trends in asset allocationDevelop a close partnership with internal sales teams to commercialize our strategies Run projects and assist in developing team strategy 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications:

Experience in Alteryx, Tableau/Power BI, or other business intelligence aggregators and visualization tools greatly preferred3-5 years of work experience at an asset manager, investment consultant, Goldman Sachs, or other financial firm preferredData extraction, manipulation, visualization and automationInterpersonal skills: this role requires the ability to build excellent working relationships with many internal and external partiesStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to work well in a fast-paced team Organized with good attention to detail Salesforce proficiency preferred
