Investment Strategy Group (ISG)

The Investment Strategy Group works with advisors and clients to help create an exceptional overall investment experience by ensuring that every client receives world-class investment advice that can help generate superior and consistent returns.

The Strategic and Quantitative Asset Allocation team within ISG is seeking an Associate to be a Portfolio Manager.  This is a dynamic role that requires creativity and quantitative rigor.  Impeccable attention to detail, as well as strong inter-personal and communication skills, is also a must.   

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL 

Support new business solicitations and the management of on-going client needsAssist in managing portfolio implementations, on-boarding discussions, changes to investment 
management agreementsCollaborate on projects related to new business development and strategic team planningServe as key liaison to other areas supporting the SQAA business including legal, compliance, and technologyManage generation and presentation of client reports including quarterly reviews, performance attribution, and other ad hoc requestsExecute, process and reconcile trading and other investment related transactions Analyze and reconcile team’s business  Lead or participate in efforts to improve efficiencies 

  SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or equivalent)Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of financial marketsExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenStrong interpersonal/leadership skills and a passion to engage with clientsMust be comfortable presenting to audiences of varying sizes and sophisticationDetail orientation, patience, and demonstrated ability to multi-task under pressureAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks concurrently, and think clearly under pressureOrganizational skillsCreative thinkerCollaborative and team work orientedProficiency in Windows Technology (Outlook, Word, Excel)At least three years of related investment experienceSIE, Series 7 and 63 required (must be obtained within three months of employment) Might require additional qualification (FINRA Series 9 and 10)

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
