You will join the Taiwan Product Implementation team who are responsible for project managing the end-to-end implementation of new business opportunities, JPMorgan internal Fund launches and Life-Cycle events on the respective investment accounting platform(s). The team also facilitate various types of product account opening and set-up, e.g. segregate mandate account, fund account, alternative product account. The team works cross-functionally with Investment Desks, Product Development, Client Account Management, Compliance, Risk and Control functions as well as subject matter experts in Investment Operations, Technology and Third-Party vendors.
As a Product Implementation Associate in Asset Management, you will partner with cross-functional teams to promote the design and implementation of investment solutions for new business opportunities. You will play a key role in managing complex change events impacting existing operating models, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and senior management. This role provides an opportunity to enhance operational controls, mitigate business risk, and improve scalability of our service models. Your role will also involve liaising with external parties and managing vendor relationships to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Partner with cross-functional teams locally and globally, including Investment Services, Business Management, Operations, Product Development, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Controls to drive the design and implementation of investment solutions for new business opportunities and complex change events impacting existing operating models.Execute on plan and communicate regularly to senior stakeholders across the business.Implement against established project plans, gantt charts, on-boarding checklists, and account set up requirements to ensure timely execution of key deliverables.Ensure effective and timely communication of initiative status with stakeholders and senior management to keep them abreast of key developments.Resolve Issues - undertake effective issue management practice to ensure timely resolution of key roadblocks, escalating where appropriate.Support the re-engineering and enhancement of existing operational and service models to improve scalability, enhance operational controls, and mitigate business risk.Liaise with external parties in the execution of change requests, and manage vendor relationship to ensure the successful delivery of initiatives. Key contact points may include custodians, registrar and IBOR/ABOR service providers.Lead New Business Initiative Approval (NBIA) initiatives and obtain required Committee sign-offs to ensure new operating models can be effectively supported by the business in a controlled and scalable manner.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, business administration or related disciplines. Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in the financial marketsIntermediate understanding of onshore and offshore funds, including mutual funds and ETFs. Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and strong time management skills.Proven track record of successfully delivering results through effective project management and execution.Strong and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to engage with senior leaders and business users.Fluency/proficient in both Mandarin and English required.Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality.Stays current on industry, market, product, and competitive trends.Local regulatory licenses are required, including SITCA Sales, or Senior Securities Specialist
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Background in project management and a sound understanding of middle office and/ or fund administration operations is preferred.Experiences in Foreign Asset Management, with a focus on analyzing and delivering business strategies.Familiarity with UCITS SICAV funds is an advantage.
