Job Description:

Works directly with the business development officers, relationship managers and/or product specialists to develop, structure, analyze, covenant, document, fund and close a deal. Works on a broad range of transactions from large corporate/private equity to core middle market. Requires direct contact with the client, financial sponsors and/or financial intermediaries (including outside accountants, legal counsel, appraisers, field examiners, etc.). Full understanding of BANA and BABC credit policies is required to enable immediate reaction to situations during the underwriting, documentation and closing processes.

Job Responsibilities:

Analyzing new prospects including financials and projectionsEvaluate collateral for suitability for asset based facilitiesAssist in preparation of term sheets and negotiating with prospective clientsPrepare documentation to evaluate new opportunities to include pre-screens and final approval documentationWorks with outside counsel and other third parties to included appraisers and field examiners to document and close transactions

Required Qualifications:

5+ years experience credit, underwriting, and structuring of corporate lending transactions.

Familiarity with asset-based lending across broad industries

Knowledge of and ability to work with Legal Documentation

Able to establish and maintain collaborative partnerships

Demonstrates strong team-minded behavior that creates win-win solutions that build trust

Demonstrates deep and broad business acumen - a strong business person with technical skills

Easily navigates multiple client and support organizations

Desired Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree with concentration in Finance, Accounting or related
