Job Description

Assist in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of securitizations and other bespoke asset-backed financings

Build securitization cashflow models and perform diligence and credit analysis on underlying collateral

Assist in the construction of screening materials and investment memos for internal investment committees

Key point of contact with rating agencies, valuation agents, and third party service providers

Responsible for coordinating across various internal teams, including legal, accounting, and operations teams on transaction execution

Provide ongoing support in conjunction with risk and operations teams to monitor and surveil investments for reporting and sensitivity analysis

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic record

2-4 years of experience in cashflow modeling and documentation of CLO or ABS securitizations, warehouse, and asset-backed financings; experience in multiple asset classes a plus

Strong understanding of rating agency process and methodologies for securitizations, prior interactions with rating agencies preferred

Knowledge or familiarity with insurance investment management a plus

Strong capabilities in MS Excel and PowerPoint, VBA; Intex and Bloomberg experience a plus

Proactive self-starter with high attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and motivation

Excellent organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills

Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000

Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.
