JOB SUMMARY:

Assembly Test Technician will be responsible for supporting all aspects of assembly, validation, and qualification testing of both hydraulic and electromechanical actuation systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fabrication, assembly, and use of test fixtures and rigsAssemble and test ball screws, hydraulic actuators, electro-mechanical actuators.Acceptance testing of hydraulic and/or electromechanical products.Ensure calibration and certification of all instrumentation that is utilized for testing.Support external testing activities at labs as necessary.Perform basic machining operation using drill press, Bridgeport mill, manual deburr and polishing.Blueprint reading and understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerances.Use precision measuring devices such as micrometers, dial indicators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.

EDUCATION:

High School education or equivalent is required.Associates degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology, or other related technical disciplines preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 2 years of related experience is required.
