Required Skills:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience3 years of relevant high-traceability manufacturing experience in aerospace, medical, or related field2 years of hands-on work experience in Electrical-Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration, and/or Harness Integration1 year of experience in a fast-paced production environment1 year of hands-on experience with precision torque measurement and inspection devices (e.g., automated and manual torque wrenches, torque drivers, calipers, micrometers, profilometers, optical inspection devices, multi-meters) as well as standard hand tools

Services to be Performed:

Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locationsAssemble and test various avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, handle and install fiber-optics and PCBAs with attention to detailEnsure lab equipment is maintained and calibratedSupport preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systemsIdentify equipment requirements and process improvements; maintain floor stock inventoryIndependently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverablesExecute test procedures for component and system level testing and maintenanceReceive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc.Contribute to improving SOPs and safety procedures

Work Environment

You will be working in a manufacturing environment that builds satellites. The role may require standing for long periods, climbing ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching. You should be able to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted. Work shifts vary and may include days, evenings, staggered shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed. Estimated shift times are 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM and weekends from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Flexible commuting between site locations is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
