As an Assembly Operator you will perform a wide variety of manufacturing and assembly operations by following specific work instructions. Responsible for component assembly in relays and switches for the aerospace industry.
Shifts & Pay:
1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm @ $17.61/hr 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:30pm @ $19.37/hr 3rd Shift: Monday-Friday, 10:00pm-6:30am @ $19.37/hr Most shifts have OT available (work 10 hours/day and/or on Saturdays) as needed.Assembly Operator Responsibilities:
Follow work instructions to manufacture quality products per Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices. Inspection of own work using quality standards and work instructions. Conduct pull tests as needed for particular operations. Measure components using calipers, gages, or other measuring devices. Inspect product to print. Complete necessary operational paperwork required to maintain the traceability of product. May troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment. Perform all other work-related duties as assigned. HS diploma or GED required. Minimum one year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Basic computer skills preferred. Good communication skills. Ability to interpret product blueprints preferred. Ability to multitask and prioritize work to successfully accomplish job duties. Experience with using measuring devices (gages, calipers, etc.) preferred. Available to work overtime to support production goals as needed. Must be able to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to remain in stationary position 75% of the time. Must be able to operate machinery. Must be able to move between work zones.
