Title: Assembly Spin Prime Operator
Location: Oxford, MS

Salary: $17.86/hour with an increase to $19.76/hour after successful evaluations and completing 90 days.
Schedule: 2nd or 3rd shift

Focus: The Assembly Operator is responsible for operating various manufacturing processes within the production of small arms ammunition. 

Assembly Operator Essential Job Functions:Kneads materials into metal plates to charge shell cases and places product into mechanical and hydraulic presses. Performs visual inspections of shells and packing them into cartons and cases. Operates loaders and packers, assembling, inspecting, and packaging of small tedious components. Occasional material handling up to 50 pounds. Operates and controls various machines used in the manufacturing process. Assembly Operator Minimum Requirements:Must be at least 18 years of age Minimum of one year of recent continuous employment history; manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to meet physical requirements of position to include occasional material handling of 50 pounds, repetitive arm/wrist movements, and continuous walking and/or standing. Ability and willingness to work weekends, including overtime 

Location-Specific Requirements: 

This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
