Production Manager
Your role and responsibilities•\tFunctions as a member of an area team that is directly responsible for efficient productions of quality products in the required quantities. •\tLoad the line with various parts to ensure assemblers have all parts needed to assemble motor.•\tRead and comprehending diagrams and verify parts that are needed to assemble the motor. •\tRequires basic computer skills and ability to use/learn Shop Floor Display system. •\tRequires an understanding of flex flow and day and rank system and able to comprehend all written instructions. •\tRequires the use of air hoist.•\tAbility to do defect free work by assembling components accurately and meet minimum production guide lines for the area. •\tCommunicate with other operators or supervisors to discuss any part or equipment defects. Identify and order appropriate supplies, parts, and tools as needed. •\tThis job requires strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills to support site objectives. Production operators will be trained to perform task/jobs in other areas of production. •\t Place safety in the workplace above all else and follow safety guidelines along with reporting safety issues.•\t Daily housekeeping.•\t Work overtime as needed. •\tOther duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the roleEducation and Experience Needed:\tHS Diploma or equivalent required\t1 year of Industrial type experience or military service or in lieu of industrial experience will consider vocational/ technical high school and technical college courses or 3 months previous motor manufacturing experience. \tMotor manufacturing experience preferred.\tCandidates must have a work authorization that would permit them to work in the United States.Specialized skills or other requirements:\tSteady work history\t\tReliable transportation to and from work\tAdaptable to change and ability to cross-train\tDetailed oriented\tMust be able to work any shift\tMust be able to operate a forkliftPhysical Demands:\tRequires repetitive pushing, reaching, pulling, grabbing, bending and twisting motions.\tOperate will constantly grip various sizes of components.\tLifting up to 30 - 50 lbs. Lift device used on higher lbs.\tOperate various hoists.\tUnderstand and use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) \tOperator will constantly use fine finger manipulation to accomplish tasks.\tAble to work 40hrs a week and required overtime\tAbility to think independently while successfully functioning in a team environment\tRequires the use of an air manipulator for lifting motors.\tAble to perform task in a manufacturing environment\tStanding on concrete floor
