The below is a position with Marley Engineered Products.   Marley Engineered Products is a marketplace leader in innovative comfort heating and ventilation solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial markets.  With a portfolio that includes baseboard, wall, unit and infrared heaters as well as ceiling fans and air circulators, we create simplified heating solutions for our complex world.

 

SUMMARY:

 

The Line Coordinator oversees the efficient operation of assembly line activities, ensuring production goals are met on time, efficiently, and to quality standards. This role involves coordinating line staff, addressing any production challenges, and adhering to safety protocols. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Ability to train an associate at any of the workstations on the line. Safety champion for area of responsibility. Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties. Ability to use hand and air tools. Ability to set up different lines (multiple) with parts that are required Ability to work with planning, stores, fabrication, and paint to coordinate parts being at the line(s) in time to ensure customer satisfaction. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. Initiates plans to enable team members to achieve work goals. Sets up machines and equipment. Reports machine and equipment malfunctions to supervisor/maintenance personnel.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding required. Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills required. Ability to wire. Ability to learn all stations on the line and pass tester certification. Ability to become certified to operate a forklift. Excellent attendance record. Consistently meets or exceeds commitments with the highest standards of ethics and integrity required. Have computer skills
