Position Details: 

 

Duration: This is one year contract position with a possibility of being temp to hire. 

Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm, Mon-Fri with some overtime.

Pay Range: $19.00/hr

 

Who We're Looking For: 

 

Candidates with the ability to assemble/dis-assemble and pack for large medical equipment to ready it for shipping. Experience with noncomplex optical / electrical / mechanical sub-assemblies and working within quality requirements, who also has shipping & forklift experience. This person should be reliable and detail oriented. 

 

What to Expect as an Assembler/Packer: 

 

 

Inspecting shipping containers to ensure they meet shipping regulationsAssembling daily orders by shipping location or any other shipping categoriesKeeping records of packages including delivery notes, invoices, etc.Filling out packing and order forms with the relevant shipping information Sealing shipping containers and labeling them appropriatelyCleaning shipping containers and other shipping suppliesFilling out packing and order forms with the relevant shipping information Sealing shipping containers and labeling them appropriately Also need some assembly knowledge   

 

Qualifications for Success: 

 

HS Diploma or GED or equivalent of 2+ years of manufacturing.Electrical and Mechanical SkillsDecision-making and problem solvingPlanning/Organizing/Trouble Shooting ProblemsChange Management (flexibility, versatility, adaptability, dependability, responsibility)Good Communication (verbal and written)TeamworkLeadershipComputer skills
