S&C is continuing to grow.  Where do you come in?  We are looking for a Summer Student for the Assembler - Weekend Shift, who has a passion for innovation and in their field of expertise, enjoys working as part of a team and are committed to helping us become a leader in our industry.

As an Assembler, you will

Perform assembly of custom products according to established written work instructions and schematics Read and interpret assembly drawings Follow set instructions, job orders, and record information Perform quality checks using tools and gauges and complete checklists Adhere to Continuous Improvement manufacturing principles Work in a safe environment by keeping self and workstation free from hazards

Who are we looking for? Someone who

Is currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution (diploma or degree program) Ideally has basic power tool experience; however, no prior experience is required Has strong mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity Has good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
