**Kelly Services is seeking an experienced** **Assembler** **for a busy Metals manufacturer located in Lake Mary, FL 32746** **Pay- $14-$16/hour (based on experience)** **Schedule- 2nd shift 2:30pm-11:00pm** **Temp to hire** **Job Summary:** Seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Assemblers. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling various components into final products as specified by our customers. Responsibilities include identification of all components, correct assembly, packaging, documentation, and tagging of assigned assemblies. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + **Component Assembly** : Assemble a variety of components as per documented instructions into final assemblies required by customers. + **Quality Control** : Measure parts effectively to ensure they meet print specifications and production requirements, including edge quality, surface nonconformities, and paint defects such as scratches. + **Documentation** : Complete production paperwork accurately, including quality and timekeeping records. + **Work Area Management** : Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area in line with facility housekeeping policies (6S Standards). + **Collaboration** : Work well with team members, paying attention to detail and demonstrating thoroughness and accuracy. + **Safety** : Wear required safety equipment and accurately fill out tags associated with produced parts. + **Setup and Monitoring** : Perform basic setups involving prewritten programs and read blueprints to monitor required characteristics. + **Training** : Receive on-the-job training from the cell supervisor. + **Quality Policy Knowledge** : Understand the Company Quality Policy and Quality Objectives and know how they relate to your role. + **Continuous Improvement** : Assist the Cell Leader in introducing Continuous Improvement ideas. **Requirements:** + Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy and thoroughness. + Effective measurement skills and ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Must work well in team environments and follow safety protocols. + Willingness to participate in on-the-job training. + Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area. + Enthusiastic about Continuous Improvement initiatives. **Apply today** As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
