**Job Title: Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality products and services for our customers. The role requires strong manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination. You must be able to perform well-defined visual procedures and processes, often following written documentation or visual aids. After training, you will be expected to use various injection and compression machines, hand trim parts, and use measurement gauges to verify the quality of products produced on automatic/manual equipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work area, setting up and monitoring production, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, production, and quality.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate various injection and compression machines after training.
+ Hand trim parts and use measurement gauges to verify product quality.
+ Perform well-defined visual procedures and processes following written documentation or visual aids.
+ Maintain a safe and efficient work area.
+ Set up and monitor production processes.
+ Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, production, and quality.
+ Perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Strong technical skills and ability to operate machinery and equipment.
+ Ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis.

We offer a sign-on bonus of $1000.00, with $500.00 provided after 30 days of employment and the remaining $500.00 after 90 days of employment. **Work Environment**
This position typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The third shift operates from 11pm to 7am and includes a shift differential of $22.50/hr. Lifting is generally at or below 30 pounds without significant repetitions. There is moderate exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks. Operating a powered industrial truck is considered at least Industrial and may be considered Heavy depending on other exposures.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Freeport, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
