**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking candidates to support assembly and shipping functions. Responsibilities include basic assembly of transponders and beacons, attaching parts, placing PC boards and batteries, and running wires. Candidates may also perform packaging tasks. The role requires updating inventory on the 2nd shift, so some computer experience is needed. **Responsibilities** + Perform basic assembly of transponders and beacons + Attach parts together with screws + Place PC boards, batteries, and run wires + Support packaging tasks + Update inventory on the 2nd shift + Work off SOPs **Essential Skills** + 1+ years of manufacturing experience + Experience in assembly roles in a manufacturing or production environment + Basic electrical and mechanical assembly experience + Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers + Ability to work off instructions and pack and ship boxes **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous assembly or soldering experience is helpful + Experience with electrical, mechanical, and wire assembly + Good English skills **Why Work Here?** This is a great opportunity to join a reputable company that hires from its temp pool. Shifts are as follows: 1st shift: Monday - Thursday, 6 am - 3:30 pm, Friday 6 am - 10 am. 2nd shift: Monday - Thursday, 3 pm - 12:30 am, Friday 10 am - 2 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
