Apply today to take your career to the next level with us!** **Location: Ellabell, GA** **First Shift:** $19.00– pay increase once hired direct. 90-Day Contract to hire **Hours:** (6:30AM-3:00 PM MON-FRI) (Overtime hours after shift) Assemblers will be working on the line assembling parts of the seat. They will be using basic hand and power tools. They will not be asked to do much heavy lifting but will be standing on their feet for the duration of the shift. **Essential Functions** + Follow all processes and procedures associated with the Production Department to produce seats. + Assemble, perform material handling, and rework using hand tools, power tools, fixtures and jigs. + Assemble metal, foam, fabric/leather and electronic components using hand, pneumatic, and electric tools, fixtures and jigs. + Read, interpret, and follow work orders and work instructions/Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) to ensure work is performed according to specifications. + Maintain a consistent work pace on each operation; utilize time well; perform tasks within required time. + Performs any variety of operational tasks and workstations within the Production Department to maintain positive flow of work. + Material handling functions as required to maintain inventory of work stations, or to move product through the production process. + Perform quality checks and recognize defective parts and any inconsistencies with production flow to assure product meets all specifications and standards. + Write production reports, track parts and scrap as required. + Follow requirements of Quality policies and standards, such as, ISO 9001, TS16949, IATF16949 + Adhere to 5S to keep work site clean and orderly consistently improving appearance of the team’s area. Active in following 5s—Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain organization of work area. + Collaborate with Team Members, Team Leaders, Group Leaders and/or other members of Hyundai Tansy's to be active contributors to the team. + Attend all required training as assigned. + Comply with and promote company practices and policies in all areas including Safety, Standards of Conduct, Quality, Performance, and Communication. + Be flexible in work to support continuous improvement activities that will ensure personal and company growth. + Other duties as assigned **Work Environment** : Indoors in a brand new, state of the art facility, Temperature controlled, Guaranteed 40 hours each week, medical, dental, vision benefits while on contract and once direct. **This is a great long term opportunity with pay raise opportunities. You have an opportunity to get your foot in the door with a well known company in the area and get some great experience!** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
