**Job Title: Medical Device Assembler**
**Job Description**
Join a fast-paced and dynamic team as a Medical Device Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in assembling and inspecting medical devices. You will follow approved manufacturing protocols and work with various tools and equipment to ensure high-quality production. This role offers opportunities for cross-training and working in a clean and well-lit environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble and inspect medical devices according to approved manufacturing protocols.
+ Follow written protocols and operate testing equipment.
+ Use measuring tools such as rulers, calipers, and magnifying glasses.
+ Ensure good hand-eye coordination to handle very small parts.
+ Rotate through different areas of the production and packaging lines to promote cross-training.
+ Maintain pace with a fast production environment, producing up to 1000 products per day.
+ Swipe in and out for shifts using building access cards.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum 1 year of experience in small part assembly.
+ Good vision for working with magnifying glasses and microscopes.
+ Basic English language competency for reading and following written protocols.
+ Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
+ Good hand-eye coordination.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in medical device assembly, soldering, and electronics is beneficial.
+ Ability to lift 10lbs repeatedly while working on the production and packaging lines.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Work Environment**
This role is set in a clean and well-lit environment with roughly 40 assemblers in each department. The work is fast-paced and requires teamwork. The dress code is business casual, with specific requirements for cleanroom attire including lab coats, hair nets, and masks. No denim, makeup, jewelry, or nail polish is allowed. The day shift runs from 7:00am to 5:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Breaks are scheduled from 10:35am to 11:05am and 2:30pm to 3:00pm. Training includes QMS training on quality protocols via an iPad and on-the-job training with a assembler.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mississauga, Ontar
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
