**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** Seeking assemblers to build modular solar units according to SOPs and blueprints. You will work on a line with a team of 5 assemblers building the frame and structural components for each section of the unit and then lock in the solar panel into each portion of the frame. The units fold up accordion style and will be strapped in for shipment. You will use a job crane to move the material and frame, and will utilize hand tools, power tools, and air tools to assemble the units. **Responsibilities** + Build modular solar units according to SOPs and blueprints. + Work on a line with a team of 5 assemblers to build the frame and structural components for each section of the unit. + Lock in the solar panel into each portion of the frame. + Fold the units accordion style and strap them in for shipment. + Use a job crane to move the material and frame. + Utilize hand tools, power tools, and air tools to assemble the units. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of assembly experience. + 3+ years of heavy assembly experience (assembling units, heavy packages, etc.). + Ability to read blueprints. + Proficiency in using air tools and power tools. + Experience operating overhead cranes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in mechanical assembly. + Knowledge of schematic and assembly line production. **Why Work Here?** This is the first US operation in a very stable industry. The likelihood of contract extension is high due to the significant investment and strong product sales team. **Work Environment** Open-aired environment. Steel toe shoes and long sleeve shirts are required. The contract is for 8 months, ending in July, with a high likelihood of extension. The work schedule includes 1st shift from 7am-3:30pm (starting at 6am if needed) and 2nd shift from 3:30pm-12am (staying until 1am if needed). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Pasadena, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
