A Manpower client is currently seeking 1st & 2nd shift Assemblers to join their team. The ideal candidate will come from a construction background, be able to read blueprints, and have physical capabilities to lift up to 75lbs.

Job Title: Assembler

Location: Knoxville, Iowa Area

Pay Range: $20.77 (1st shift) & $22.77 (2nd shift)

Hours:
6:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday & 6:00am-Noon Friday (1st shift)
3:30pm-1:00am Monday-Thursday & Noon-6:00pm Friday (2nd shift)

What's the Job?

Perform repetitive jobs on a production table to produce or assemble trusses. Read work orders and follow assembly leader's instructions accurately. Retrieve and move connector plates to designated areas as needed. Assist in jig setup and position precut lumber in the jig by hand. Connect joints using various tools, including hammer and pneumatic staple gun.

What's Needed?

1+ years of related experience or training. Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals. Basic mathematical skills to perform calculations with whole numbers and fractions. Must be reliable and have transportation to/from work every day. Physical ability to lift and move items of varying weights.
