Job DescriptionWe are seeking diligent and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Assemblers on the 3rd shift. This position involves working in teams to assemble and inspect sunglasses from start to finish, including assembly, inspection, packaging, operating a pad print machine, and labeling boxes. The role requires flexibility, as job duties and departments within assembly may change. Candidates will work 9:00pm to 5:00am 3rd Shift Schedule and mandatory overtime scheduling applies.ResponsibilitiesScrew, glue, and fasten individual pieces of sunglasses together.Prepare assembled parts for lens installer and then Quality Auditor.Install lenses into frames and glue icons onto frames.Use small tools to insert small screws or pins to hold frames together.Work with the pad printer to mix paint for pad printing and fix malfunctions when they occur.Sand and buff the gate/burr off the center frame.Send assembled products to Quality Auditor for final inspection before packaging.Set up workstations at the start of the shift, potentially building different models each day.Stand and walk throughout the shift, comfortable shoes and insoles are recommended.Work with small hand tools and/or power tools.Rotate job positions within the shift to limit repetitive movements.Essential SkillsAbility to stand for 8-10+ hours a dayGood attendance recordAbility to pass drug test and BGAdditional Skills & QualificationsNo experience required, but helpfulAbility to work in a highly repetitive, fast-paced environmentWhy Work Here?We offer a competitive employee discount after 90 days of employment, with 70% off frames and 60% off apparel. The work is highly repetitive and short-cycle assembly. The dress code is casual, but close-toed shoes are required. Protective eyewear must be worn at all times, and ear-plugs are required in certain departments. Regularly scheduled stretches are conducted before and after lunch. A one-hour safety training session is required before starting the position.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Foothill Ranch, California.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.97 - $19.97/hr.
