**Job Title: Assembler (3rd Shift)**
**Job Description**
This position is part of the underfill and staking department within the manufacturing process. The role involves assembling and gluing very small parts under a microscope. This manual work is performed using coatings and epoxies, similar to piping a cake but with greater precision and detail.
**Responsibilities**
+ Inspect work for defects
+ Replace parts as needed or directed
+ Inspect products using a microscope
+ Obtain Basic Component ID Certification
+ Follow documentation and procedures
+ Read and comprehend English
+ Work with a microscope
+ Perform masking and demasking tasks
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
+ Experience working in electronics manufacturing or medical device assembly (minimum of 1 year preferred)
+ Comfortable working with hand tools like torque drivers, hand cutters, and screwdrivers
+ Experience working with epoxy and RTV silicone is a plus
+ Familiarity with automatic paste, epoxy, and Loctite dispensers is a plus
+ Proficiency in using microscopes for the majority of the workday
+ Basic math skills
+ Ability to recognize and distinguish colors
+ Steady hand and patience for detailed work
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Comfortable sitting and looking under a microscope for 70+ percent of the day
+ Ability to use epoxy and RTV or any adhesives as needed (non-toxic but may have odors)
+ Basic computer skills to operate machinery programs
+ Ability to sit at a station for 7+ hours a day under the microscope

**Work Environment**
The employee will work in a PCB manufacturer facility with high-quality boards used in drills that go miles below the ground. The position is for the 3rd shift (10:30 PM - 6:30 AM) with a 20% shift differential. Employees must be comfortable starting at 10 PM and working until 7 AM, including potential overtime after training, which may include weekends. The role requires working in a clean room environment, wearing a full bunny suit, foot covers, mouth covers, gloves, and a hair net. Employees cannot wear makeup, fake nails, or nail polish and must wear closed-toe shoes and pants.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, Arizona.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.60 - $21.60/hr.
