The Assembler is responsible for fabricating and assembling parts, subassemblies, and products using an array of tools and equipment following assembly instructions and/or drawing specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

•Complete work as directed by immediate supervisor.

•Work with other members of a line or group to assemble products.

•Work with Product Development and Quality to develop prototypes, assemblies, and methods.

•Perform all work to meet quality and safety standards and procedures.

•Maintain a clean and safe environment.

•Document actions and products by completing required quality and production forms.

•Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

•High school diploma or equivalent.

•Must have experience working in a clean room environment.

Must have at least One (1) or more years of assembly experience in the Medical Device Industry.

•Must have Microscope AND Soldering experience.

•Use of small hand tools (IE: rulers, calipers, cutters, tweezers, etc.).

•Use of various equipment (IE: UV Curing Station, Hot Air Guns, Soldering Station, Pull Tester, etc.).

•Excellent hand-eye coordination, quick learner.

•Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors.

•Understanding of ISO / FDA Quality System Requirements and guidelines.

•General knowledge of lab safety, MS Office and reading written instructions and specification drawings

Occasionally the employee may be required to lift or move at least 25 pounds.
