City Las Vegas State NV Shift Varies Type of Shift Full Time Department Player Development & Players Club Asian Gaming Exec Casino Host The Strat (Las Vegas, NV) Description: Summary: Develop and retain a database of qualified Asian-gaming guests through targeted sales and marketing efforts; including prospecting, promotions and special events. Essential Functions: + Works closely with the Director of Asian Gaming to create and execute specialized programs geared to drive revenue for Asian guests. + Develops new players, maintains existing players and services all VIP level casino guests. + Maintains an individual database of qualified players. + Through telemarketing efforts promotes and cultivates business keeping the Stratosphere top of mind with guests. + Meets quarterly goals, including those pertaining to revenue, filling special events, and telemarketing efforts. + Meets and greets guests on the casino floor. + Proactively responds to targeted guest needs by arranging rooms, dinner reservations, show tickets, and transportation on and or off property. + Completes administrative duties for department transactions. + Hosts off-site events and promotional parties to maintain customer loyalty and obtain new business. + Makes decisions regarding player comps and other incentives within department guidelines. + Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations + Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Qualifications/Requirements: + Minimum of 2 years of previous Host experience in Asian Gaming + Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English; both spoken and written form. + Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in Chinese (Mandarin and or Cantonese) or Vietnamese. + Must be at least 21 years of age. + Excellent communication and guest service skills. + Must have all documents required for work eligibility in the United States.
